Daugavpils University welcomes 16 ERASMUS+ students!

16 active, inspiring and creative students from Vytautas Magnus University, Šiauliai University and Vilnius University in Lithuania, Ankara Univetsity and Anadolu University in Turkey, University of Bialystok in Poland, University of Murcia in Spain and University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Slovakia have chosen Daugavpils University as their ERASMUS+ institution for the autumn semester 2014/2015. Welcome! The study fields of these students are English, Russian and Latvian Philology, Environmental Science and Biology.
As usual, a Welcome Day celebration was organized and the students were introduced to Daugavpils University, that will become their home and study institution for one semester.
Also all ERASMUS+ students had prepared presentations about their countries and home universities and pleased the audience with interesting stories.
In cooperation with the Student Council, our exchange students took part in Student Rally and got the second and third place. In the evening a party for students took place in the nightclub Queen, where participants of the Student Rally were awarded.
We wish a great time in Daugavpils and lots of new knowledge, inspiration and friends to our ERASMUS+ students!
