Pursuing the cooperation of ISE with Dublin City University

Following the invitation of well established cooperation partner of ISE, associated dean for research of Dublin City University (DCU) Institute of Education, Dr. Charlotte Holland, ISE professor/senior research fellow Anita Pipere interacted in an intensive two-day work programme from Tuesday 24th April to Wednesday 25th April in DCU, Ireland. The location for the event was DCU’s Institute of Education, the largest faculty of education in Ireland with over 140 academic staff lecturing and researching within the discipline of education and related areas. The work programme centred on exploring synergies and opportunities for collaboration between research interests of Prof. Pipere and that of two DCU foremost philosophers, namely, Dr. Francesca Lorenzi and Dr. Eileen Brennan. The outcome of the work programme include planned collaboration on research that will lead to four journal publications in high quality (ranked) journals. Preliminary title of the 1st stage of the initiated project: “Promise of dialogicality: transcending disciplinary boundaries”.
